Umbrian Handmade | Terracotta | Brick Tiles | 7.5cm x 30cm | Wall and Floor Tiles

Crafted by hand, our terracotta tiles are one of the finest examples of artisanal products that are made using the same handmade techniques today as in centuries past. Each tile is cut by hand, and put through a wood fired oven in a process that takes around 20 days to fully produce each and every tile. As a result of this process, each tile is unique and colours can range from shades of pinks and reds to orange and earthy amber tones, offering a natural  warmth and charm to kitchens, bathrooms, hallways and living spaces,

Please note their can be slight variations in the size due to this traditional method f production.  Terracotta by its very nature is extremely hard wearing and possess excellent natural insulating qualities making them ideal for use with underfloor heating systems as they naturally retain and release heat in a very efficient manner.

Terracotta tiles are naturally porous so require sealing to ensure they are kept in the best condition.  Options include Boiled Linseed oil or Antique Wax for a traditional finish and LTP Mattstone which is perfect if you want a minimal change to the original appearance of the products.  We recommend using a cleaner such as
LTP Grimex Heavy Duty Grime Remover  to remove grout when applying and LTP Waxwash 1ltr for general aftercare.
